Data Deletion Request

What data we store

• Your Instagram or TikTok username, display name, and profile picture
• Follower and engagement counts at the time of connection
• OAuth access tokens used to publish content on your behalf
• Content submitted through our event submission form (title, venue, date, flyer)

How to request deletion

1. Disconnect via the platform — Revoking access in your Instagram or TikTok app settings automatically triggers deletion of your stored tokens and profile data on our end.
2. Email us directly — Send a deletion request to privacy@culturalbridgelabs.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address or platform username associated with your account. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

What happens after a request

• OAuth tokens and platform credentials are permanently deleted
• Profile data (name, avatar, follower count) is removed from our database
• Event submissions you made remain unless you also request their removal
• Aggregate, anonymized analytics data may be retained as permitted by law

Confirmation

After your request is processed you will receive an email confirmation. If you submitted a request through an automated platform callback (e.g. removing app permissions in Instagram), deletion happens automatically and no confirmation email will be sent.
